SUBHASHITHANI:647
Stone can be broken
by chisel, hard things by other hard materials, snake can be charmed by chants, but wicked
human can never be cured..
A person, whose mind does not blossom by an eloquent speech, a melodious song and the elegance of young women is surely an ascetic or an animal.

Sarvada sukaram mithram , dushkaram paripaalanam I
Anithyatvaath tu chithanaam preeti: alpe api bhidhyate IIRamayana
It is easy to initiate friendship. But, very difficult to sustain and develop it. Because of the unsteady nature of the human mind, worthy friendships are broken due to flimsy reasons.

।Chanakya niti
A foolish person should be shunned just like a
two-legged animal. He pierces with verbal spears, just as an invisible thorn
does.

Loosened is the knot around the heart ,Slashed are all the doubts
Perished are these chains of Karma ,In that perception of the Supreme.

ambhasā bhidyate setustathā mantro'pyarakṣitaḥ|
paiśunyāt bhidyate snehaḥ vācā bhdiyeta kātaraḥ||
With the constant and pressing onslaught of the water in the reservoir, a dam or bridge would become unstable and would break in the long run. A secret would be breached if it is not properly guarded. The love and affection between two people would be shattered when either of them indulges in backbiting and slander affecting the other. A person lacking in self- confidence can be easily broken through words that convey threats and dangers.

A secret that is heard by six ears will most certainly be leaked; a discussion is limited to four ears will always be kept secret. Therefore the wise should always avoid a discussion that is heard by six ears.”
