अङ्कुशं शौचमित्याहुरथानामुपधारणे ।
आनाम्य फलितां शाखां पक्वं पक्वं प्रशातयेत् ॥ १.१४०.२०

Aanaamya phalitaam shaakhaam pakvam pakvam pashaatayet II
Hiding behind the attire of a dharmic person is used as a strategy, as one bends the branch of a fruit-laden tree to pluck the well-ripened fruits.

अचिन्त्याः खलु ये भावा न तांस्तर्केण साधयेत् ।
प्रकृतिभ्यः परं यत्तु तदचिन्त्यस्य ल
प्रकृतिभ्यः परं यत्तु तदचिन्त्यस्य ल
क्षणम् ॥ ६.५.१२
Achintyaah khalu ye bhavaa na taam tarkena saadhayet I
Prakrutibhyah param yattu tadachintyasya lakshanam II
The state of existence which are indeed unthinkable, one should not establish there existence through reason. Whatever is beyond the reach of The Three Modes of Prakriti, that is called "Achintya".
Achintyaah khalu ye bhavaa na taam tarkena saadhayet I
Prakrutibhyah param yattu tadachintyasya lakshanam II

नायं लोकोऽस्ति न परो न सुखं संशयात्मनः ॥ ६.२८.४०
ajñaśh chāśhraddadhānaśh cha sanśhayātmā vinaśhyati
nāyaṁ loko ’sti na paro na sukhaṁ sanśhayātmanaḥ
But persons who possess neither faith nor knowledge, and who are of a doubting nature, suffer a downfall. For the skeptical souls, there is no happiness either in this world or the next. ( from bhagavad gita )

Aashaakaranamityevam
kartavyam bhootim ichchataa II
Salutations with folded hands,
swearing, soft speech,showing respect by putting
head on the feet, and controlling lust – these are things a king should follow if he
desires prosperity.

ज्ञानाञ्जनशलाकाभिर्नेत्रोन्मीलनकारकम् ॥ १.१.८४

The
wisdom of Maha bharatham, like the stick used for applying collyrium, has opened
the eyes of the world which were covered by the
darkness of ignorance.

Atikrantam Hi Yatkaryam Pashchachintayate Narah.
Tachasya na bhavetkaryam chintayaa cha vinashyati ॥ 8.31.29
One who is
brooding over the past and keeps worrying without focussing on work on hand,
will be destroyed by that worry.
तच्चास्य न भवेत्कार्यं चिन्तया च विनश्यति ॥ ८.३१.२९
Atikrantam Hi Yatkaryam Pashchachintayate Narah.
Tachasya na bhavetkaryam chintayaa cha vinashyati ॥ 8.31.29
अति
धर्माद्बलं मन्ये
बलाद्धर्मः प्रवर्तते
।
बले प्रतिष्ठितो धर्मो धरण्यामिव जङ्गमम् ॥ १२.१३४.६
Ati dharmadbal manye
baladharma: Pravatte.
Bale Prestige Dharmo Dharnyamiv Jangamam ॥ 12.134.6
energy is
superior to Dharma, since dharma grows with energy; just as all movable objects
depend on the support of the earth, dharma rests on the support of energy.
बले प्रतिष्ठितो धर्मो धरण्यामिव जङ्गमम् ॥ १२.१३४.६

अतियोगमयोगं च श्रेयसोऽर्थी परित्यजेत् ॥ १२.२८७.२४

A man desirous
of well-being should completely give up both excessive indulgence and total
abstention from enjoyment in object of the senses.

Souchameva param teshaam yesham na utpadyate spruhaa II
Those who are indifferent when wealth is lost and are detached when wealth is obtained, and whose mind do not arise from covetousness, become highly purified.
