असारभूते संसारे सारम् एतत् चतुष्टयम्

In this essence-less (असारभूत) worldly life (संसार), these (एतद्) four (चतुष्टय) are the essence (सार) – residing in Kashi (काशी-वास), the company (सङ्ग) of the good men (सत्) , River Ganga (गङ्गा) and the worship of Vishnu (विष्णु-पूजन).
इति संचित्य वै शंभुः अर्धाड्गे कामिनीम दधौ
When lord paramaSiva looked at the world that is created, it seems he felt that the world is so lifeless or without saara (असारभूते संसारे), then he started searching for the saara and found in nitambini सारभूता नितंबिनी (a beautiful lady with well developed hips) which mother parvati. Immediately then Sambhu, gave his half body to keep that saara with him only.

This worthless world with overwhelming pains of birth, death,
old age,and diseases should be renounced by one seeking happiness.

All this is impermanent and is surrounded by the three types of pain

O unqualified, most heinous son of a
brāhmaṇa, you have disobeyed my order and taken shelter of the party of my
enemies. You have taught this poor boy about devotional service! What is this
nonsense?
(In
this verse the word asāram, meaning,
“having no substance,” is significant. For a demon there is no substance in the
process of devotional service, but to a devotee devotional service is the only
essential factor in life. Since Hiraṇyakaśipu did not like devotional service,
the essence of life, he chastised Prahlāda Mahārāja’s teachers with harsh
words.) Iscon.

Who are you? Who am I? From where did I come? Who
is my mother? Who is my father? You enquire, renouncing the entire world of
experiences which is bi essence-less and also a mere dream born out of
imagination.

11. Conceiving the real in unreality while seeing unreal the truly real, roaming fields of thought ill-formed: they never arrive at the real.
12. That which is real they know as real, that unreal, to be unreal; roaming fields of thought well-formed they arrive at the real .
