धर्मादर्थः प्रभवति धर्मात्प्रभवते सुखम्।।Ramayana
3.9.31।।
धर्मेण लभते सर्वं धर्मसारमिदं जगत्।
Righteousness
brings wealth. Wealth brings happiness. Righteousness brings everything. In
fact, the essence of the world is righteousness.
अणुभ्यश्च महद्भ्यश्च शास्त्रेभ्यः कुशलो नरः ।
सर्वतः सारमादद्यात् पुष्पेभ्य इव षट्पदः ॥
aNubhyaH cha mahadbhyaH cha shAstrebhyaH kushalo naraH ।
sarvataH sAram AdadyAt puShpebhya iva ShaTpadaH ॥
A wise man does not differentiate between knowledge - small as an atom or mighty. There are things to learn from everything. He will extract value from all like a bee visiting all flowers for nectar.

Reject those which are of no essence, meagre essence, and also those which are of partial essence and those even having greater essence. Focus only on those with greatest essence, like the nectar from the milky ocean.

Anant shastram bahulashch vidyaah

Yatsaarabhootam tadupaasaneeyam
hamso yathaa ksheeramivaambumadhyaat.
Boundless indeed is the arts and science, but life is short and obstacles are numerous. Hence take what is good and leave what is worthless, as geese/swan take milk from the midst of water.

Just as the beauty and perfection of eyes depends on its
eyeballs and that of flowers is in their fragrance, in the same
manner doing all the duties to perfection (and with devotion) is
also fundamental in all religious duties.

Words with less and essence are the art of speaking.
This is an excerpt from the poet Harsh Virchit Shri Nishadhiyacharitam.
This is an excerpt of the eighth verse of the ninth serg of this poem.
Which means short appropriate and essenceful words are the real art of speaking.

The
essence of the eighteen Purāṇas has been described by Vyasa in two maxims:
helping others is virtuous; causing harm to others is sinful.
