To a person of firm
conviction the vast earth is like a courtyard , the ocean a small pond , the
netherworld ( Patala) like a
picnic spot and Mount Meru like
anthill.

They who dwell in the ignorance, within it,
wise in their own wit and deeming themselves very learned, men bewildered are
they who wander about round and round circling like blind men led by the blind.
शूरो भयेष्वर्थकृच्छ्रेषु धीर:
The gold is identified by burning in fire, nobility is known by one’s action, कहa virtuous man is known by his conduct . A hero is known in danger, the valiant in difficulty, and friends and foes in dire calamities .

Rajan! The human body is the chariot, the intellect is the
charioteer and the senses are its horses. A clever and patient man, who is
careful by subduing them, travels happily like a charioteer with horses under
control.

The mountains move at will, blown by the winds of the end of the ages.
The mind of the steadfast is thus unmoved even in the face of adversity.
