This is a wonderful sloka from Yoga vasishtam where
vasishta narrates
story of Maha bali to Rama.
story of Maha bali to Rama.

Mind when it feels complete ( poornam ) without craving
for anything , it feels the whole world is filled with nectar. Man wearing a
footwear feels the whole world is spread with leather carpet for him.
We have from bhagavad gita description of a sthitha
pragyaa:
स शान्तिमाप्नोति न कामकामी ||BG2. 70||
स शान्तिमाप्नोति न कामकामी ||BG2. 70||
Just as the ocean remains undisturbed by the
incessant flow of waters from rivers merging into it, likewise the sage who is
unmoved despite the flow of desirable objects all around him attains peace, and
not the person who strives to satisfy desires.
Also,we have the very popular statement from Amruta-bindu
upanisad:
mana eva manushyanam
karanam bandha-mokshayoh I
karanam bandha-mokshayoh I
bandhaya visayasango
muktyai nirvisayam manah II
muktyai nirvisayam manah II
“For man, mind is the cause of bondage and mind is the
cause of liberation. Mind absorbed in sense objects is the cause of bondage,
and mind detached from the sense objects is the cause of liberation.”
In vairagya satakam Bhartruhari asks the question :
Manasi parithushte ko arthavan ko dharidra ?:
If the mind be contented, who is rich and who poor ?
SRI KRISHNAYA THUBHYAM NAMAH
Good selection. Looks deceptively simple. Unique human potential achieved by the rarest of the rare! Then is yoga siddhi. One becomes Siddha Purusha.
