कल्पद्रुमः कल्पितमेव सूते सा कामधेनू कामितमेव दोग्धि।

चिन्तामणिश्चिन्तितमेव दत्ते सतां तु सङ्गः सकलं प्रसूते॥
kalpadrumah kalpitameva
soote saa kaamadhukkamitameva dogdhi |
chintaamaNischintitameva
datte sataam hi sange sakalam prasoote ||
Wish tree (Kalpa dhrumah)gives only that is wished, Wish cow (Kama dhenu)gives only that is
wished, Wish stone(Chintaamani) gives only that is wished, but saints' accompaniment
produces everything even without asking.
कल्पद्रुमोऽपि काले न भवेद्यदि फलप्रदः ।
को विशेषस्तदा तस्य वन्यैरन्यमहीरुहैः ।।

If the kalpaka vruksha does not help at the
hour of need , then it is no better than any other tree found in the forest.
मातेव रक्षति पितेव हिते नियुङ्ग्ते
कान्तेव चापि रमयत्यपनीय खेदम् |
लक्ष्मी तनोति वितनोति च दिक्षु कीर्ति
किंकिं न साधयति कल्पलतेव विद्या. ||

At the time of Mata Sita’s
wedding , there were chorus of Jaya-jaya, chorus of Vande-vande, chanting of the vedas, Auspicious music and beating of kettle drums ;hearing this the devas were highly pleased and
there were showers of flowers from the holy Kalpa taru.

What
is the use of Kalpa vruksah which is present in the Meru mountain for the one
looking for help on the earth? ; A lonely tree is more satisfying to a man wandering
in the desert.

Kalpadrumo na jaanaati na dadaati Bhruhaspatih I

Kalpaka tree (drumah) does not know my plight,
Bruhaspati does not help me with knowledge; However, this king knows my need
and provides for it too.

The name ‘RAM’ is
like a wish-fulfilling tree(Kalpataru)and is the store house of all
auspiciousness; by meditating on that name TulsiDas have become as pure as tulsi
leaf.
