PANCHA TANTRA- SUBHASHITHANI-4

 SUBHASHITHANI:318

Having decided he will go in pursuit of furthering his wealth through trading, Vardhamaan  collected merchandise bound for the city of Mathura, assembled his servants, and after saying farewell to his family, set forth from the city. He had many bullocks and horses in his caravan. One of them was a fine bull named Sanjeevaka; he looked like white cloud and was girded with a golden bell. More subhashithani from THE STORY OF SANJEEVAKAA

A unprotected survives if protected by fate; but what is well protected perishes if condemned by fate. Even an orphan lives left in a forest, while with all the protections one in the house  dies.

If you protect, then what is the use of any other protector? If you do not protect, then what is the use of other protectors? Knowing this fundamental truth, I have resolved to offer my saranaagathi at your lotus feet alone that rest at the banks of Vegavathi river.
