SUBHAHITHANI:367
After narrating the story of 'The Camel and the crow' Sanjeevaka said “And that is why I say”- “when those who scheme, who are mean, and who cheat, all get together, they are capable of anything, however proper or improper it may be. Much like the crow and the others who cheated the camel. “
Sanjeevaka continued ” It seems like some wicked-hearted person has poisoned Pingalaka’s mind, and that is why he is angry with me. ...

That position which those who offer sacrifices in due form or even those who gain super-human power do not attain, excellent servants who sacrifice their life for their master attain.

do not feel affection for a king whose ministers are corrupt and dishonest; for
he will act like a gander attended upon by vultures.

If the king is like a vulture, but is surrounded by
swan-like courtiers, he should be served well. But, if a swan-like king is
surrounded by people who act like vultures, then he should be discarded.

Affected by the poison of the ear what will a foolish man not do? He can even be a Kaapaalika and drink wine in a human skull.

Whether kicked by the feet, or beaten by a rod, a snake kills only that person whom it bites. But this quality possessed by a wicked man is highly indescribable, in that he contacts someone’s ear while destroys another root and branch.
Sarpam damshati kaalen durjanastu pade pade. II
If one has to choose between a snake and a mischievous person, better choose a snake, because a snake bites occasionally (only on being provoked) whereas a mischievous person harms every now and then (even without provocation).

Snake is cruel and an evil person is also cruel,
but an evil person is worse than a
snake. Snake can be controlled by mantra and medicine, but how can an evil
person be controlled?

Extraordinary is the way of killing of the serpent in the form of a wicked person; he whispers something into the ear of one and some one else is destroyed.
