Srimad Bhagavatham enumerates thirty values as important signs of Dharma. Manusmruti, Yagyavalkya smruti, Ramayana, MahaBharatham, various puranas and other scriptural texts have dealt with 'Dharma Lakshanam' in which we can see a great amount of congruity. We will study the Manusmruti sloka and the slokas from Bhagavatham in this blog.

आत्मनः प्रतिकूलानि परेषान्न समाचरेत् ॥
Listen to the essence of all dharma, and then think it over well. Do never perform things, that are disagreeable to one-self, towards others.
