SUBHASHITHANI:299
“Thoughts are roots; Words are leaves; Actions are fruits! Every success tree has all working harmoniously”- Ancient wisdom
ते ज्ञानहीना न फलं लभन्ते तीर्थानि देवायतनानि भावः ॥
Te gyana heenaa na phalam labhante teerthani devaayatanaani bhavah
Fishes and other beings live in river Ganga. Many birds make
nests and live in temples. They don’t get any benefit out of it ,for they lack
the required understanding of scriptural truth. It is the Bhava ( mental disposition
) that will produce the result for the visit to temples or bath in the holy
rivers, not the mere physical action.

स्वं कालं नाSतिवर्तन्ते तथा कर्म पुराकृतम् ।।
Just as the flowers and fruits grow on trees at the appropriate time without any inspiration or inducement, in the same manner the consequences of good or bad deeds done by people long ago have to be faced by them in due course.
यथा वृक्षेषु वल्लीषु कुसुमानि फलानि च ॥

kāmadhenuguṇāvidyā hyakāle phaladāyinī ।
Knowledge (vidyā) has the attributes of kāmadhenu (the celestial cow, that grants all wishes) and also gives fruit even in inopportune times. It’s like a mother when away from home. Knowledge is deemed as a hidden treasure.
स्वयं भ्रमति संसारे स्वयं तस्माद्विमुच्यते ।।९।।Chanakya niti
Man does his action and bears its consequences. Himself he roams in the world and himself gets liberated from the cycle of birth and death.
