Even a fool, dressed in fine garments, shines in an assembly;
but only as long as he doesn’t open his mouth.

To prove that the statement of His supreme devotee Prahlāda was
substantial — in other words, to prove that the Supreme Lord is present
everywhere, even within the pillar of an assembly hall — the Supreme
Personality of Godhead, Hari, exhibited a wonderful form never before seen. The
form was neither that of a man nor that of a lion. Thus, the Lord appeared in
His wonderful form in the assembly hall.

In an assembly of wise and learned persons only those persons shine, who are experts in various arts. Only for this reason Lord Shiva has adorned his forehead with a segment of the Moon. abandoning other embellishments.

Only those persons are competent to participate in an assembly of people, who, by their oratory, are capable of captivating the hearts of not only the learned persons and their associates, but also the people who are hostile towards them, as also neutral persons.

Alas! Whatever eternal truth the saintly and
righteous persons say for the benefit of common people, does not enter in
the portals of various assemblies, and even if it reaches there, instead
of acting on such advice, the honourable Councillors maintain silence over
