THE EYES(2)-CHAKSHUSH-NETRAM-NAYANAM-

SUBHASHITHANI:183
“Sarvasya gatrasya sirah pradhanam Sarvendriyanam Nayanam Pradhanam
Shannam rasanam lavanam pradhanam Bhavet paneeyan udakam prdhanam”.
Head is important among the body. Eyes Are Important Among All Senses. Salt is important among six tastes, water is important among liquids.

For poets - their talent is their eyes. Scriptures are the eyes of a wise man. Knowledge (about the universe) is the eye of a sage. A king has his spies as his eyes.
kim bhUShaNam ruchiram atra yasho na ratnam
kim kAryam AryacharitaM sukRutaM na doShaH ।
kim chakShuH apratihataM dhiShaNA na netram
kim tApahAri madhuram vachanam na pAthaH ॥ .
What decorate you? Fame. Not gems. What is one's duty? To live the Noble way. Not sin. What gives you unlimited sight? Mind. Not eyes. What gives relief? Sweet words. Not Water.
sarvasya hi parīkyante svabhāvā netare guṇāḥ|
atītya hi guṇān sarvān svabhāvo mūrdhni vartate||20||
One should always examine the innate nature of everyone, not other qualities.
For surpassing all the other qualities, nature alone dominates.

Even if the king has his eyes shut he must have his eyes of wisdom (logic, politics) open. Using that eye he must make his anger or pleasure decisively known to his subjects. People will always like such Kings.
Let me see every creature in this world with a friendly eye. Let the world see me with the same. Let everybody in the world see each other likewise.
yA ye yau yo bhargaM vadatIkShete sadArcataH smarati ॥ - shivAnandalaharI
It is not a tongue unless it utters the God's names always. It is not an eye unless it sees God in everything. It is not a hand until it is folded while worshiping God. One can claim he has done some work only when he remembers God always.
३ ॥Kena Upanisad
na tatra cakurgacchati na vāggacchati no mano na vidmo na vijānīmo yathaitadanuśiyādanyadeva tadviditādatho aviditādadhi |
iti śuśruma pūrveṣāṃ ye nastadvyācacakire || 3 ||
The eye does not go there, nor speech, nor mind. We do not know That. We do not know how to instruct one about It. It is distinct from the known and above the unknown. We have heard it so stated by preceptors who taught us that. (3).
He is the primordial god. The whole universe came from his lotus like navel. Krishna, whose eyes, hands, lips, and  legs are like red lotus; who ever has not seen Krishna thus is as good as blind; even if he winks then his eyes are no eyes.(Silappadigaram)
SRI KRISHNAYA THUBHYAM NAMAH
