'Forbearance' is the strength of the weak; 'forbearance' is
the adornment of the strong. The world is subdued by 'forbearance'. What can't
be accomplished with 'forgiveness'?

If a person possesses’
forgiveness’ as a virtue what harm can an evil person do to him, just as a fire gets automatically
extinguished if it falls on a non-combustible surface.

destructive fire at the end of creation. He is equal to mother Earth in
forbearance.

To bear with those who revile us, just as the earth bears up
those who dig it, is the first of virtues.
