dOh !    How strange are the ways of the noble men .They treat wealth as very insignificant like a blade of grass and in case they become wealthy, it makes them humble and responsible to serve the society.

The imports of all vedic knowledge is revealed with in the hearts of those noble men who engage with unflinching faith in devotion toward guru and god.

The sun causes the lotus to bloom. The moon on his own makes the lily to bloom. The cloud too, without being asked, gives water. Great souls are always taking the initiatives to do good to others.

That one is of sterling conduct and character who does not inflame the enmity which has cooled down, is not conceited  and at the same time is not self-deprecating, does not engage in wrongful actions on the ground that he is passing through a difficult period.

The thoughts of wicked and mean persons are different than  what they speak and ultimately do, whereas the thoughts, their expression and subsequent action by the noble and righteous persons
are always the same.

Like the Sun is red in sunrise and sunset, similarly the Great Ones remain same (not disturbed) in good and bad times.

What does not the company of the good do to men : it removes the darkness from the ignorant minds, it bring truth in their words and speech, it directs them to the precise path of advancement and self-respect, it removes sinful tendencies, it purifies the mind and it spreads their fame in all directions.

Friendship with the wicked and the noble is like the shadow of the fore noon and the after noon respectively.One is long to begin with, but diminishes later;the other is short at the beginning  but increases gradually.

courageous during adversity, forbearing concerning success,master of the art of rhetoric,valorous in war, desirous to acquire stature,and assiduously devoted to scripture;
these are the characteristics of the great! ||52||

Tress laden with fruits bend down (so that people may enjoy the fruits). Clouds laden with water come down (in the form of rain cooling the earth and watering plants and trees). In the same way noble men do not become conceited when fortune embraces them but use their wealth to help others. This is the nature of persons who are always eager to be of help to fellow humans.
